Spotlight on Sponsorship - MusicSlam!

As a way to draw increased awareness and attention to some of the standup sponsorship opportunities on our site, we’ve set apart one blog per month to put the “Spotlight on Sponsorship”! This month our spotlight shines on the “MusicSlam™.”

What is MusicSlam all about?
MusicSlam™ is a 10 day music festival  taking place in June of 2014 in Park City, UT.  The goal of MusicSlam is to provide its booked artists with a large scale venue that will reach thousands of people, but more importantly, will provide artists and booking agents a venue with which to network.


The event will feature a number of independent artists on multiple stages during a 10 day period. One or two large well known acts will be contracted to draw attention to the event, but this is not the mission of the event. The business will aggressively develop ongoing relationships with booking agents throughout the country to ensure that artists will receive the networking opportunities envisioned by the company. 

What makes this opportunity unique?
It is the goal of MusicSlam is to provide its booked artists with not only a large scale venue that will reach thousands of people, but more importantly, provide artists exposure to booking agents and a venue with which to network. The event is still in its infancy, which allows for new sponsors and partners to build a relationship from the ground up, and customize a sponsorship package that works for them. 

Preferred partners?
Event planners tell us that one sponsor category they see being able to benefit from their event are Airlines.  With musicians, talent and event goers coming in from all over the country this event lends itself to a profitable airline partnership. 

Music companies, including suppliers, promoters, ticketing companies and performance venues could also create solid relationships with this event.
