DESCRIPTION
Celebrating femininity, empowering women through microfinance. Lingerie New York™ is the highly anticipated couture and luxury lingerie show that follows the success of the 7Bar Foundation’s Lingerie Miami™. The event will be held in the spring of 2010 at Cipriani 42nd Street. Lingerie Miami and its successors, Lingerie New York, L.A., Vegas, London and Paris are philanthropic brands designed as a business model for social impact. Each show raises funds and awareness for the micro-financing of women globally as well as locally. Our last event featured celebrity co-hosts Eva Longoria Parker and Veronica Webb, with a key-note speech by Deepak Chopra. Funds were raised for KIVA.ORG and Banco de Familia, part of the Women's World Bank network. Simultaneously, each show will launch exclusive products to extend its reach and impact. Product launches from our last event will include a limited edition panty with Agent Provocateur, a lipgloss in partnership with a major cosmetics company featuring the tag line "Kissing Away Poverty," and a coffee table book with former supermodels by acclaimed photographer Sante D'Orazio to be titled SUPER MOMS: EMPOWERING WOMEN. Funds from these product launches will go towards empowering women locally in the United States to start their own business and aid in our economic recovery with ACCION, USA as the beneficiary. Lingerie New York will also feature A-list celebrity hosts and a musical performance by a top artist. We are currently working towards a potential broadcast on a major cable network as a one-time special.

Our last event, Lingerie Miami, resulted in amazing press including over 25 Million daily Local & National Print publications, Over 26 Million weekly/monthly Local & National Weekly Print Publications, and over 121 Million Online Publications. We had coverage in over 115 publications including Shape Magazine, Vogue México & Latinoamérica, People, USA Today, Access Hollywood, New York Post, OK, FoxNews.com, WWD, InStyle, US Weekly, World News, Style.com, Ocean Drive, and MTVU. PR was handled by the Miami office of Harrison & Shritman. We will be working with a similar PR agency in New York.
